Abstract:
Investors interested in nanotechnology are increasingly confronted by questions concerning intellectual property. In many cases, an investor unfamiliar with patent law and unaware of the intellectual property landscape in nanotechnology will be shown a suite of patents by a company seeking funding. What basic IP issues should investors raise before making investments in nanotech companies? In this “Top Ten” article, we attempt to shed some light on this question.
