Top Ten Intellectual Property Lawyers Influencing Nanotechnology
Volume 5, Issue 2

Abstract:
In past issues, we have published on the “Top Ten” venture capital firms and investment banks involved in nanotechnology. Yet, at this point in time, it is arguable that the professionals working in nanotech law and business that have devoted the most time and attention to nanotech are intellectual property lawyers.

In this issue, we highlight ten of the most influential IP lawyers in nanotechnology. To date, most of the IP work performed for clients has been in patent prosecution, but there are increasing numbers of licensing deals, and a flood of IP litigation may be on the near horizon. The lawyers were selected based on factors such as number of patents prosecuted, types of clients, and general involvement in the nanotech community. Many of these lawyers have published in or have otherwise become involved with this journal, and have helped keep Nanotechnology Law & Business on the cutting edge of the ever-changing nanotech patent landscape. The following individuals are listed in alphabetical order.
