Abstract:
A recently filed case on CMP slurries (DuPont v. Cabot) presents several issues that are likely to arise in nanotech patent litigation. The article reviews the basic options and strategies that are available to an accused patent infringer under U.S. patent law, with special reference to some unique patent problems that are likely to confront nanotechnology companies.
