Funding for Nanotechnology & Energy Research

The Department of Energy’s Industrial Technologies Program will award $10 million in research funds for its “Nanomanufacturing for Energy Efficiency 2008″ initiative. The selected projects will receive funds over a three year period. Awards will range from approximately $150,000 to $2,000,000. The application deadline is May 30, 2008. The fund aims to promote research into nanotechnologies that reduce energy and carbon intensity in manufacturing applications.  Read more here.
